During the installation of square pipes, attention should be paid to the engineering standards:

1、 Thin wall square pipes and square pipes should not be in direct contact with cement, cement mortar and concrete. In case of concealed laying of pipes, anti-corrosion tape shall be wrapped on the outer wall of the pipe or plastic coated thin-walled square pipe shall be used.  

2、 When cement mortar is used to fill the concealed pipes, insulation materials shall be used to ensure that there is a gap between the cement mortar and the pipes. So that the concealed pipes can be freely retracted.  

3、 Plastic coated thin-walled square pipe (type 316) should be used for burial to avoid acid and alkali corrosion on the outer wall of the pipe or damage to the pipe caused by sharp and hard sundries. Other wrapping materials can also be used as anti-corrosion measures, such as wrapping two layers of polyethylene tape or two layers of vinyl chloride tape, wrapping two layers of asphalt paint (or epoxy resin), glass fiber plastic cloth for anti-corrosion.  

4、 The pipeline shall be reasonably configured with expansion compensation device and support (fixed support and movable support) to control the expansion direction or compensation of the pipeline. When the length of the straight section of the exposed or non buried hot water thin-walled square pipe exceeds 10~15m, the axial compensation measures should be taken. When the nominal diameter is greater than 50 mm, square pipe corrugated contraction joint or square pipe linear temperature compensator should be set.  

5、 Anti condensation measures should be taken for the exposed building water supply thin-walled square pipes, and the hot water thin-walled square pipes should be insulated.  

6、 Pipes and square pipes shall be supplied by the supplier. It is not suitable to weld square tubes of different grades and materials.  

7、 The pipes and square pipes are thin-walled. When connecting with accessories such as screwed valves, water nozzles, water meters, etc., it is not allowed to thread the thin-walled square pipes. Instead, it should be transited through the adapter number screwed fittings.  

8、 The oil stain will cause the rubber seal ring to degenerate, and the sharp object colliding with the pipe and the square pipe will cause water leakage, so pay attention to it during construction.  

9、 After pipeline installation and pressure test, it is advisable to use low chloride ion water for flushing and 0.03% water solution for disinfection.
